Living Her Best Life

While she was with us...
While she was with us...
Carin was the chronicler of her friend group. She could tell a story that would have your rolling, light up a room with her fun energy, and debate you until you gave up.
We always thought she would become an attorney because her persistency outlasted us all!
We can't talk about Carin without also bringing up Lynch Syndrome and her 6 years of trying to outlive the cancers it gave her.
Lynch Syndrome is a familiar, genetic disorder than increases a persons risk of multiple cancers by a large percentage.
While Breast Cancer is not considered a "Lynch" cancer, her aggressive disease was caused by the genetic mutations.
There was nothing more important to Carin than her kids.
Carin would drop anything or change her whole schedule to give her girls as much as she could.
Carin did everything she could to make her girls lives normal during all her treatments and the ups and downs that come with cancer.
Our leaders respected her contribution to our communities.
Improving communication between parents and the school, building donations, and increasing volunteerism were her goals.
